Description
From chapter 32, Cinderella gives a specific description for why the Commander is deserving of the Prince Charming title. Because he awakened her and found her Glass Slippers. Even the Old Tales event has this fact listed in the minigame In The Mirror. It includes a relic stating the prince will awaken her. Except, that is not what happened in the main story? The person to find the Glass Slippers and use them to activate Cinderella was Grave herself. She also remembers herself to be Cinderella through seeing her reflection in Grave's eye. So even metaphorically, the fact still remains that Grave is the one to awaken her. From what I can see, the intent is for the Commander to be the Prince, and for Grave to be the Fairy Godmother. But this seems to have played out incorrectly, as if even her fairy tale itself was corrupted. Is there something missing to the story here? Did Shift Up make a mistake? Or is her entire love for the Commander as the Prince built on a misconception and a lie? I'm wondering if this was intentional so that the people that are properly paying attention know for sure that her and the Commander are not supposed to be an intimate pairing. I find it hard to believe that Shift Up would carefully make her story after so much buildup, and then carelessly tack on the Prince title and reasoning for it without making sure it matches the story itself.
