Hey people of the 21st century, How's everyone doing on Terra? I hope the state of the world lately hasn't been bothering you too much. May the Emperor protect... The latest Inquisitor Trainer 1 build is finally here! I'm still aiming to finish the game before the end of the year, and so far everything is looking GOOD and right on schedule. In This Build 1. The Baptism Scene of Heidi and Cordelia I'm finally unlocking the baptism scene for those of you pursuing the Heidi x Cordelia romance route. It's completely optional and not required for the main story. Cordelia remains the same strict, intimidating Inquisitor she has always been. On the surface, everything she does is for Heidi's own good and for the Imperium. Deep down? Well... let's just say she has her own interests too. Manipulative female dom energy. You get the idea. Before pursuing a more intimate relationship with Cordelia, Heidi must undergo a baptism ritual. During it, she'll have to confront her past as an Undercity dancer and decide whether to tell the truth about how she really felt back then. The scene contains multiple dialogue paths, roleplay options, and even alternate responses for players who want to portray Heidi differently. Since this route is entirely optional, I had a lot more freedom to experiment here. The rest... I'll leave for you to discover yourselves. 2. Meeting the Assassin (Again) Heidi crosses paths with Kivella once more, the mysterious assassin who somehow keeps showing up in her life. This time, Kivella finds Heidi stressing over the worsening situation on the planet. Naturally, she wastes no time teasing her in the most shameless ways possible. Beneath all the flirting, however, Kivella brings important news regarding the cult investigation. A noble family has vanished, and their estate is suspected of being connected to cult activity. So while this scene is fairly lighthearted and packed with chemistry, it also pushes the main story forward. Next Month's Update: Additional Heidi Opening Scenes This is the PRIORITY for next month. I'm adding several new opening scenes that better explain who Heidi actually is. A lot of people have said the game's premise feels a little out of context, and honestly, I think Heidi herself needed more development. Spoiler Alert Heidi actually comes from the present day. She was originally an ordinary young woman who accidentally crossed paths with the Emperor himself. Needing money, she volunteered for one of his experiments and was placed inside a long-term stasis capsule. Then... boom. She wakes up thousands of years later in the far future. A servo-skull explains what happened, why the Emperor conducted the experiment, and why an Inquisitor has taken her in as an acolyte. My goal is to make the setting easier for new players to understand. Rather than assuming everyone already knows the lore, Heidi can learn about the Imperium, the Emperor, and the grimdark future alongside the player. After that, I also want to revisit Heidi's first meeting with Cordelia and improve the context behind some of their earliest scenes. But that's a problem for a future update. For now, I want to focus on making the opening stronger. So yeah. Enjoy the build, and as always, thanks for the support. If you'd like to follow development more closely, check out my Patreon.
